Maggie visits Oklahoma!
Becky hosted a wonderful lunch on Saturday so Maggie could see all the nieces and nephews. Her new braces look great and of course the kids were all over her. We got to see her later that evening at Wedge Pizza on Western where all the gang was there. It was a treat to have her here!
Kelly has moved on to a begin a new project which has left me with many unfinished projects: 7 windows in the living room need to be cleaned and two coats of white paint, the storm windows need to be cleaned and replaced, the baseboards in the living room needs another coat, the crown molding has not been put up in the dining room or the living room. HOWEVER, Danny and his Dad just about have the new porch and steps ready to pour with the newly painted railing in place. I will post pics tonight. The hallway has been textured but needs painted...and the new light fixtures need to be hung and then I need to get the blinds custom made for the living room AND we need to custom order a new front door.......any volunteers......

.....BREAKING NEWS from Sandyland Vineyard............

Secondary Fermentation has begun....

Cellar hands John and Scott (and Diane) completed the primary fermentation on Saturday and have transferred the juice into a 5 gal carboy to begin the secondary fermentation. This step could take weeks so don't get tooooo excited, we are a long way to a finished product.(The date on Scott's camera is incorrect so don't get confused, you didn't lose a month.)

The dining room is almost finished! The walls are painted City Rink, the ceiling is Timeless Ivory and the trim is Extra White. The crown moulding and the white blinds are not up yet. Soon, I hope. Kelly have moved on to the living room and everything is really a mess. Leon has a chair, the remote and the TV can be uncovered for his marathon WFN viewing, everything else is draped in plastic. I am in the process of getting the screens replaced on the living room storm windows and then getting the windows washed. There are 7 windows in the living room alone ! Any volunteers?

The concrete forms for the front porch will be built this week and then the concrete poured. You have to jump off the porch to get down. Titus is visiting this week so visitors have to scale the front porch to get in. The 80 year old railing is at Kingfisher Kookers getting sandblasted and powdered baked. Still a lot to do to get everything back in it's place. Maybe by Thanksgiving?
